My name is Suzie Phillips and I am delighted to find this site. I hope it will continue to attract many horse lovers from around the globe!
I currently have a 15yr. TWH Mare, Jasmine, a 3yr. TWH Filly, Magic & a 3yr. QH Filly, Gracie. I pretty much rescued the three altho they were in decent physical health. They just needed a human to care for and connect with them. And I do:)
I endeavor to keep their environment as natural as possible. They lead a very peaceful life on my small farm and my day revolves around them!
I'm in the process of creating a Paddock Paradise for them which will keep me busy all summer. There is allot of prep work to be done, but it is good work-!
Anyway, thanks for what appears to be a wonderful site! I look forward to getting to know you all-!
Smiles, Suzie

Hi Suzie, your farm sounds lovely and your projects ambitious. I am here in chapel hill, no horses, I have only 3 acres but access to other land. I would definitely get a rescue horse or two if I did decide to commit to the responsibility. Good luck Kate

Hi Suzie,
Welcome to the forum! I am Mark's assistant and I also reside in NC, not too terribly far from Kathleen! You should fill us in on your Paradise Paddock! I have an interest in integrating that into another project I am working on! My colt is not yet home, and will have to be boarded until I can find suitable living arrangements where he can be onsite with me. I rescued him off the racetrack following an injury in December. It's a long story! I hope you enjoy the wealth of information contained here as well as meeting new people with a shared interest…..and look, you've already made 2 NC connections!
