I listened to Linda's talk last night. I also just finished reading the Edgar Sawtelle book which is about dogs and was a tough emotional read but good! Of course, I was thinking of horse stuff while reading it. There is a salient section where the mother is training the dogs and Edgar notices how well she conceals her anger and frustration. I think this is a key to her personality in the book perhaps and I found it interesting in light of the horse work/play I'm doing. Linda spoke of sociopaths being able to successfully hide their emotions around animals (I think this is what she said–I would love clarification on it) It would explain why the evil character in the book was so successful with the animals and the manipulations of the humans. Just something that I have been thinking about. Anyone else?
