Larry Hannon

Larry was born and raised on a large cow ranch in the Osage Country of Oklahoma. He attended Oklahoma State University earning a B.S. in Animal Science and a M.S. in Veterinary Parasitology & Microbiology. Serving in the US Air Force as a Veterinary Technician and Field Medic during the Vietnam War, he received many citations while serving his country, and was Honorably Discharged. Larry is a member of the AQHA as a breeder of ‘Good All Around Using Horses’, and is an AQHA Professional Horseman, as well as a Certified Horse Temperament Typologist. Larry has been training horses for over 50 years and has developed his system of Natural Horsemanship from tried and true methods handed down by his late father, Shorty Hannon.
